Fashion Week Works!

It's FASHION WEEK! Chicago has been buzzing with fun events {some of my favorite gals and I stopped by the fabulous 900 North event last night!}, and I can only imagine what the vibe is in NYC. It seems that every e-list that I'm on is sending deals, trend reports and updates on the world of fashion. Fall looks like fun, and I'm super excited about a lot of the trends and how they translate to weddings.

A few of my favorites:

Capes!
Perfect for the late fall/winter brides who want to cozy up while staying stylish.

Polka Dots!
Personally, I think that polka dots have to be done right to be done at all, and Stella McCartney gets it right all the time. This scarf is sensational, and would be a fabulous accompaniment to any shower or engagement party look.

I hope this never goes out of style, but I love that this is a trend. How sweet are these dresses for a rehearsal dinner?

Ohhh.. color. The wedding year has plenty of parties and events that the bride needs a stand-out outfit for. How fun are bright pants with a beautiful blouse or sweater?! Love! These cuties are from J.Crew.
